'She kept stealing my skincare': Entitled sister-in-law uses skin products without permission, ends up with a blotchy face

Whatever happened to not touching other people's personal items without asking? We have gotten to a place as a culture where privacy is a difficult phenomenon to uphold. We feel that reality on social media especially, but it also pertains to our physical reality as well. It's as if people either forgot or never learned how to mind their own business and leave others alone. 

In this instance, we have a young woman whose sister-in-law was staying with her for a visit that was brief but impactful…and not in a good way. The entitled sister-in-law started to use the author's skin products without her approval. The author started to notice this but chose not to say anything. Then, it got worse, and she even started to notice that some of her products were running out. So, she did what any other mature individual who has come across stories of petty revenge on the internet would do. She swapped one serum bottle for a strong, prescribed cream used for the author's keratosis. Let's just say that the results were not smooth for the sister-in-law!

  • Apparently, nothing screams petty revenge like blotchy skin. The sister-in-law wasn't even able to defend herself or deny that she used an item that wasn't hers. The evidence, after all, was right there on her face! There was no way she was getting out of this one, and apparently her silky smooth skin would inevitably bear the consequences as well.
